Istria is particularly strong for food and wine itineraries, Pag for gastronomy and stark landscapes, Dubrovnik for city exploration, and islands such as Hvar or Lošinj for travellers comfortable with a more seasonal pace. Always confirm ferry timetables and hotel closing dates directly.
What to book
